Data recovery in Brisbane, with the odds told to you first.

A laptop that won’t start, a drive that isn’t recognised, a Mac stuck on the logo, a phone-full of two-factor codes on a machine that died. We get the files back when it can be done, and we tell you honestly when it can’t.

Dead laptop, good drive

The most common case. The machine has failed but the storage hasn’t. We pull the files to a drive you bring, or onto the machine we repair.

Failing drives

Clicking, slow, disappearing. Stop using it: every attempt makes it worse. We image it first and work from the copy.

Macs with the storage on the board

Modern MacBooks keep the storage soldered to the logic board. If the board is dead, recovery means repairing the board enough to read it. Board-level work is what we do.

Deleted or formatted

Sometimes recoverable, sometimes not. We look before quoting and never promise what we haven’t seen.

How it works

Data recovery is quoted as its own job. We assess first, tell you what we can see, and you decide. Bring a drive to receive the files. And for next time: the ten-minute backup.

Upgrades and moving to a new machine

Memory and SSD upgrades that make an old laptop feel new, and a full move of your files, mail and settings to a new computer, with a back-up that actually runs afterwards.

What it costs

Screen from $120. Battery from $120. Software from $120. Hardware repairs from $100. Liquid damage from $150. Data recovery quoted on its own. Looking at it is free if you go ahead; $90 to $100 if you decide not to. Full list.
