What we fix.

Mostly laptops. Board-level repair, which means fixing the small parts on the circuit board under a microscope instead of replacing the whole board, is what sets us apart.

Mac

MacBook, iMac and Mac Studio. Screens, batteries, keyboards, machines that have slowed to a crawl, macOS that won’t start.

Windows laptops and desktops

HP, Dell and the rest. Won’t turn on, overheating, broken screens and hinges, Windows faults, upgrades that make an old machine feel new.

Liquid spills

Our specialty. Turn it off, don’t turn it back on, bring it in. The sooner, the better the odds.

Your files

Data off a dead drive, a move to a new computer, and a back-up that actually runs. Business and servers too.

How a repair goes.

Three steps. You know the cost before any work starts.

1

Call, or book

Say what happened. We set a time, at Waterloo Street or at your place. Bring the charger and your password so we can test properly.

2

We find the fault

You hear what it needs and what it costs before the work starts. Diagnosis is free when we go ahead with the repair.

3

You pick it up working

Tested before it leaves the bench. Most repairs are completed the same day.

Calls answered 24/7. Appointments 7 days, 7 am to 6 pm. By appointment only, no walk-ins: call first and we set a time for a drop-off or an on-site visit.

Twelve years on the UQ campus, now a few minutes from the city. You deal with the same technician at Casson IT Solutions from the first call to pick-up.

Have the make and model handy, what happened just before it stopped, and whether you need the data on it. That’s enough for a first answer over the phone.
